Issues related to students with disabilities in public schools, including concerns relating to Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the Individuals with Disabilities Act, ADAA, and state and federal anti-discrimination laws.
Representing school districts with respect to matters regarding students with disabilities before impartial hearing officers, the New York State Review Officer, and Federal Courts.
Matters including student discipline, harassment and bullying, employee relations, Board and governance, risk assessment and conflict avoidance.
She also represents several self-funded health insurance and worker’s compensation plans consisting of school district members.
