Opioid Epidemic Related Litigation

Numerous lawsuits seeking to recover monetary damages and other forms of relief against the pharmaceutical industry have been consolidated into a Multidistrict Litigation proceeding presently pending in federal court in Ohio. There is also a related bankruptcy proceeding pending in federal court in New York. School districts that believe they have suffered significant damages as a result of impact of the national opioid epidemic on their school district community, including increased costs associated with the provision of special education services, may wish to consider joining the litigation as class representatives.

If your school district may have experienced significant damages as a result of the opioid epidemic, please contact us so that we can provide you with additional information.
