Annual Election and Budget Vote Assistance Available June 9

What would you do? You are conducting your District’s Annual Election and Budget vote. You have received two absentee ballots in the same envelope. Can you count either ballot?

What if a voter who you believe is not a resident submits a ballot? What steps should you take?

You have a smudged write-in vote. Do you count it?

The fact is there are countless questions and potential problems involved in conducting an annual election.

But luckily, you are not alone. Help is available.

As we have done for the last four years, our office will have attorneys specifically dedicated on Election Day (i.e., Tuesday, June 9, 2020) to taking your election-related calls from 7:30 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. They will be able to assist you with any legal issues that may arise with respect to any election-related questions or problems you may encounter.
