Jeff advises clients on procurement/purchasing compliance requirements. Jeff has extensive knowledge and experience regarding competitive bidding requirements, cooperative purchasing, NYS and Federal contracts, request for proposals, and professional services contracts.
Jeff was successful in guiding clients in a mass tort litigation against vaping manufacturing companies, which resulted in settlements exceeding $4.7 million dollars for school district and BOCES clients, and the restriction on vape marketing practices towards children.
Jeff provides guidance on all phases of capital construction projects. He regularly assists with drafting and reviewing project contracts, resolving disputes, and representing schools in related litigation. He assists clients with the drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of commercial contracts, lease and real property-related agreements, and other transactional agreements.
Jeff has represented clients in administrative proceedings before the New York State Education Department and New York State Division of Human Rights, and defense of public schools in State and Federal court.
