Heather M. Cole

Heather M. Cole is a 2000 magna cum laude graduate of Boston College, and a 2004 cum laude graduate of the Syracuse University College of Law.  She is admitted to practice in New York State and the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York.

Ms. Cole's experience includes the representation of municipalities and other forms of local government, school districts, and private corporations.  Her practice areas include general representation, zoning and land use, administrative proceedings, and matters related to the Freedom of Information Law and Open Meetings Law.  She most recently focused her practice on labor relations and employment law matters.  Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Cole was employed in both the private sector and by a Board of Cooperative Educational Services ("BOCES").

In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Cole has served on the boards of the Landmark Theatre and the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund.  She has enjoyed the opportunity to speak at continuing legal education events, and have her essays included in municipal interest publications.
